Officium et Humanitas e.V. (OeH) was founded in April 1999 by a group of active young people. It is a charity organization open to anyone that relates to its ideals and goals. Its structure has been kept simple on purpose. Every member’s opinion carries equal weight. Financing of the Organization and its projects is based on member contributions as well as internal and external sources.
Germany Land of Ideas - Selected Landmark 2007
OeH is one of the selected landmarks of the “Germany - Land of Ideas” initiative. Germany is known around the world for its imagination and creative wealth. Both features can be found in the "Land of Ideas". German President Horst Köhler is the patron of the initiative, which is sponsored by the German government and commerce and industry, represented by the German Industry Association (BDI) and leading corporations.
